Surfing Lessons in Siargao

First time on a board, or ready to clean up your pop-up and read the lineup? TravelGO books one-to-one surfing lessons with a local instructor, the right board, and a break that matches how you actually surf.

We do not send you to whoever is standing on the sand with a spare board. TravelGO books the best surf teachers on the island — instructors our team picked ourselves because we live in Siargao and we know who can actually teach. Do not waste a session on a random teacher. Learn with the best.

What you learn

Each session is 1:1 so the instructor can watch your paddling, stance, and wave choice instead of splitting attention across a group. You cover ocean safety, surf etiquette, and which board and break fit your comfort that day — including Cloud 9, Jacking Horse, Tuason Point, and other nearby options when the swell allows.

The more consistent swell is usually September to March. Lessons can still run in other months when the instructor and conditions line up.
