1. Acceptance of Terms
By using TravelGo's website, mobile app, and services—whether accessed via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our website—you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
If you are using the app on an Apple device, you also agree to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions where applicable. If you are using the app on an Android device, you also agree to the Google Play Terms of Service where applicable.
Contracting party
In these Terms, "TravelGo", "we", "our", and "us" refer to the Philippines-based company that operates the TravelGo platform and local services in Siargao—the party that operates the marketplace, fulfilment coordination, transport offers, tours, apps, websites, customer support routing, restaurant and rider networks (as applicable).
Stripe (card payments) and billing appearance
When you pay with card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay through Stripe where offered, Stripe (and its account structure) facilitates the transaction. Charges may identify EDS Dorchester Ltd, a United Kingdom incorporated company acting as Stripe account holder for checkout. Your card or wallet statement may show that legal name or a Stripe merchant descriptor alongside the TravelGo purchase. Payment identifiers are processed subject to Stripe's terms and Stripe's privacy policy.
2. Service Description
TravelGo connects customers with local restaurants, grocery offers, taxis, vans, and tour-style trips in General Luna and surrounding areas of Siargao Island. Availability of each category may vary during the pilot. Fulfillment—including delivery coordination, rider assignment, tours, transport jobs, cancellations, refunds, and support—is handled according to operational rules communicated in-app. Our service is available through our website and mobile applications distributed via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
3. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods on our website and mobile app:
- Cash on delivery: Pay in cash when your order is delivered. Please have the exact amount or change ready.
- GCash, Maya, and card (PayMongo): Digital payments processed by PayMongo. You complete payment on PayMongo's secure checkout. A processing fee may apply and is shown when you select the method.
- Stripe: Pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay (when available). Payment runs on Stripe infrastructure; facilitation may involve EDS Dorchester Ltd (United Kingdom) as the Stripe account holder, as disclosed on statements and Stripe receipts. Stripe's terms and Stripe's privacy policy apply.
All prices are in Philippine Pesos (₱). Taxes and fees (if any) are included unless otherwise stated. A checkout processing fee may apply to online methods and is shown before you pay. Wallet options (e.g. Apple Pay / Google Pay) may appear when paying through Stripe, depending on your device and account.
Payment processors may operate data centres and subprocessors outside the Philippines—see our Privacy Policy on international processing.
4. Orders
By placing an order or requesting a booking (delivery, groceries, taxi, van, ferry or tours where offered), you confirm that the information you provide—such as name, address or pickup location, phone, ordered items, or itinerary details—is accurate. We reserve the right to cancel or modify due to stock, delivery or booking area limits, staffing, routing, merchant or venue availability, harbour or ferry disruptions where water legs apply—or other operational reasons. Refunds follow the section below when applicable.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
- Cancellations must be requested as early as possible. Once an order is confirmed or being prepared, cancellation may not be possible.
- Refunds for Stripe are initiated in our staff tools when eligible. PayMongo (GCash, Maya, card) refunds may be handled in the PayMongo Dashboard or through support. Processing times vary by provider.
- Older orders paid with legacy card processing may require support-assisted refunds.
- For cash orders, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis—contact us via WhatsApp.
6. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or high demand. We deliver within our service area (General Luna and designated zones). You must provide a valid, accessible delivery address.
7. Limitation of Liability
TravelGo is not liable for issues arising from restaurant preparation, food quality, allergies, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our liability is limited to the order value in cases of our error.
8. User Conduct
You agree to use our service lawfully and not to harass staff, drivers, or restaurants. We may suspend or ban users who violate these terms.
9. App Store Terms
Apple App Store: If you downloaded our app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and TravelGo, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligations. Any claims relating to the app must be directed to us, not Apple.
Google Play: If you downloaded our app from Google Play, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and TravelGo. Google has no responsibility for the app or its content. Any claims relating to the app must be directed to us.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Material changes may be communicated via the app or email where appropriate.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our service shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines. If you are a consumer, you may have additional rights under local consumer protection laws.
